September 4, 2007 – Produkty Pitania Company, Russia’s major producer of frozen convenience products under Zolotoy Petushok and Domashnaya Skazka trademarks, announces the launch of new products.

Produkty Pitania Company expands its line of products by launching new fried convenience products in breading under Zolotoy Petushok trademark: Breast Fillets Chop and Chicken Chop in Sesame Breading.

Produkty Pitania Company expands its product line by launching deliveries of new fried convenience foods in breading under its Zolotoy Petushok trademark including Breast Fillet Chop and Chicken Chop in Sesame Breading.

The expansion is a response to the dynamic development of frozen convenience foods market and to high consumer demand for products. By introducing new products the producer offers customers new opportunities to choose from among original and easy-to-cook recipes for full-value family nutrition.

The company develops its product portfolio by increasing product complexity and generating more technologic products. It also develops the taste and quality of its frozen convenience products.

In production of its novelties the company uses a single piece chicken breast fillet, which is chopped in the production process to make the final products more tender and soft. After this the product is continually heated (fried) to guarantee high quality and the consequent shock-freezing keeps product structure unchanged and ensures longer shelf life. Consumers buy easy-to-cook products and it takes them several minutes to complete the cooking and thus save their own time.

Breast Fillet Chop and Chicken Chop in Sesame Breading are produced in 350 g packages. The design of the packages includes the brand signal that became traditional for this product category – red checks. New products are sold at 65 to 75 rubles. These products will be available at major retail chains of Kaliningrad, Moscow and Saint Petersburg in September and further expansion across the company’s distribution chain will begin in October. Central and North-West regions will remain priorities in distribution.
