Produkty Pitania Company extends the range of its frozen convenience products under Zolotoy Petushok trademark

Produkty Pitania Company expanded its product range by launching production of new fried convenience products in breading under its Zolotoy Petushok brand: Traditional Chicken Meat Nuggets and Chicken Meat Nuggets with Cheese, Chicken Thigh Fillets.

The new products were introduced in response to the high consumer demand for such products: nuggets are highly demanded by the target audience. Offering the broad range of recipes, shapes and fillings Produkty Pitania provides consumers with new opportunities to choose among original products thus making its contribution to shaping diversified and full-value nutrition for the entire family.

New products are made of chicken fillet. Continuous heat processing (frying) in production guarantees high quality of products while the use of shock freezing technology preserves original structure of products and ensures their long shelf life. Consumers buy ready-to-cook products, complete the cooking cycle within several minutes saving a lot of their own time.

Traditional Chicken Meat Nuggets and Chicken Meat Nuggets with Cheese are delivered in 300 g packages (average price is 50 rubles), Chicken Thigh Fillets are delivered in 350 g boxes (average price is 80 rubles). These products are already available with major retail chain stores in Kaliningrad, Moscow and Saint Petersburg; soon they will be delivered across the entire distribution chain of the Company.

Produkty Pitania Vice-President Damir Imamovic said: Today the Russian frozen convenience products market is growing in a sustainable manner. This growth in 2006-2007 was about  13-14%, in 2007-2008 it is expected at 11.6–12%. A modern working lady who has a family and children finds that partly or completely cooked frozen products provide the only opportunity to ensure that their families enjoy quick and tasty meals without any efforts.
