On February 16, 2005 at the press event organized within Prodexpo-2005 Exhibition, Produkty Pitania Company - the largest Russian frozen poultry convenience foods manufacturer and market leader – announced its new development strategy for 2005. Produkty Pitania President Stefano Vlahovich says development can be administered in two stages. The first stage objectives are the construction of a processing facility and creation of technologic facilities that are unique in Russia. The second stage, which started early in 2005, will promote our Zolotoy Petushok trademark as the most demanded one across Russia and CIS. Among its 2005 priorities the company lists the launch of the fourth manufacture shop, strengthening its market position by expanding distribution, promoting its Zolotoy Petushok trademark, and increasing the role of marketing and branding. The consumer recognition of the quality of Zolotoy Petushok and brand awareness allowed the company to position several product groups under Zolotoy Petushok trademark. The company is sure that new positioning and Zolotoy Petushok promotion strategy will make it a truly national brand. The promotion program means both more active local product sales and implementation of full fledged sales promotion programs, РR activities, and the use of other communication instruments to raise partner and customer loyalty and promote the trademark.
