In 2005 Produkty Pitania Company will boost production volume by 43% to 126 thousand tons of produce per annum.

The company is planning to further expand its production facilities, distribution network and product range and implement active marketing policy to promote its umbrella brand Zolotoy Petushok in 2005.

"Sustainable turnover growth is determined by high consumer demand for deep-frozen foods,” says Produkty Pitania President Stefano Valhovich. "We are targeting an average income audience that represents the largest market share of approximately 110-120 million Russians. In the last two years our frozen convenience foods sales are growing because more people come to understanding that deep freezing is the best way to preserve foods without using preservatives or other chemicals.”

Today three existing production shops at Kaliningrad facility, equipped by hardware from such recognized companies as Convenience food systems, Stein and Frigoscandia, produce a daily output totaling 350 tons of product. As the fourth facility will launch operation in 2005 the total capacity will grow to about 600 tons of products a day, which is 150 thousand tons a year.

Today Produkty Pitania offers 39 types of products in different categories of frozen convenience foods under Zolotoy Petushok and Domashnaya Skazka brands.

Founded in 1994 the company operates its own plant in Kaliningrad and its own distribution network encompassing all of Russia, Ukraine, Belarus, Kazakhstan and Turkmenistan. The company employs 1,800 specialists; 1,500 employees work at production facilities.
