German Gref visited Produkty Pitania plant

The Russian Minister for Economic Development and Trade, German Gref, tasted products from Produkty Pitania Company during his visit to the region’s largest production facilities as Kaliningrad celebrated its 750^th anniversary.

Produkty Pitania is deservedly considered to be the Russian leader in the poultry-based frozen convenience foods market. Thus being so, such high-ranking officials have taken great interest in the company.

Produkty Pitania President Stefano Vlahovic welcomed such guests and gave them a tour of the three operating facilities along with the fourth that will open this September. The production lines impressed the guests because they are unique for Russia and fully automated.

The meeting ended with  a taste session of the plant’s products. German Gref pointed out that Produkty Pitania is truly one of Kaliningrad’s largest and most rapidly developing companies. The company is a  major contribution in developing the region of Kaliningrad’s  economy.
