Lasagna is basically a pie, with four layers of dough, filled with meat, mushrooms or vegetables, and has been a favorite food item in Italy for more than a millennium. The dough used in cooking lasagna was first introduced by the ancient Egyptians; and today this dish is served at all types of Neapolitan celebrations. And although Russians like it as well, it takes a great deal of time to prepare. But ZOLOTOY PETUSHOK has reduced the cooking time considerably to only 10 minutes in the microwave or 30 minutes in the oven.
The lasagna dough is made of top quality hard wheat, which retains its original shape during cooking and is low in carbohydrates, an important factor for weight-conscious ladies. “Many women believe that dough products are bad for their bodies,” says PRODUKTY PITANIA Vice-President, Tea GRGURIC. “However, the hard wheat dough we use for lasagna is easily assimilated by the body and helps improve work capacity, as it is also rich in protein.”
Traditional sauces like Bolognese and Béchamel add that special Italian flavor to make your lasagna dinner even more enjoyable. And although lasagna filling is usually made of pork, PRODUKTY PITANIA uses chicken – a clear preference among Russian consumers - which contains more protein, iron, and B vitamins, with far less fat.
Our lasagna is composed of four dough layers, two sauces for the filling, and plenty of grated cheese on the top. In addition to meat lasagna, ZOLOTOY PETUSHOK offers selections prepared with mushrooms and vegetables.
These ready-made products are packed in 370 g packages and frozen at -40 degrees Centigrade. At home, the product’s shelf life is six months (at the lowest temperature of -18 degrees Centigrade).
