Produkty Pitania Company, one of Russia’s largest manufacturers of chicken-based frozen convenience and preserved foods, has invested $4 million to complete a major package redesign and advertising campaign for its Zolotoy Petushok brand.  The company launched this bold, new campaign to boost product sales volume by 20%, through stronger, point-of-sale brand recognition and loyalty.

Produkty Pitania was founded in 1994 to import chicken products from the US and Europe.  Then in 1998 the company set up its own production facilities in Russia, with ERBD as one of its major stockholders with 27.5% of the company’s shares.  Produkty Pitania operates three plants in Kaliningrad, totaling 7,000 square meters of production space, and producing up to 340 tons of product a day. The company will soon inaugurate its fourth production facility – at a cost of $35 million – which is built to produce an additional 600 tons of product a day.  During the first six months of this year, Produkty Pitania produced 44,500 thousand tons of product, demonstrating a 41% y-o-y growth.
