Produkty Pitania announced that it will add a few new vegetable selections to its Zolotoy Petushok line of convenience foods – including vegetable nuggets and breaded broccoli and cauliflower. Up until now, the line has featured potato crockets with ham, and breaded vegetable sticks with broccoli, green peas, carrots, and corn.  By expanding the number of “vegetables-only” products, the company will meet growing customer demand for foods that are rich in vitamins and minerals.

“Our customers come first,” said Tea Grguric, the company’s Vice-President for Marketing. “That’s why we work so hard to develop products that meet their needs and desires. Today the demand for vegetable convenience courses is as high as ever because these products are essential to a balanced and varied diet, and crucial in setting a “green” table at any time of the year.”

In producing its Zolotoy Petushok brand products, Produkty Pitania carefully chooses only the freshest vegetables, and shock-freezes them to preserve their taste and quality.  What’s more, the company uses traditional Russian recipes to prepare its vegetables, which can be served as either separate courses, or to garnish meat and fish entrees. And they are ideal for vegetarians, or during the Lenten season.

The Zolotoy Petushok brand also has a new look, with an updated logo and color-coded packaging. It’s all part of the company’s global marketing strategy to cultivate brand loyalty and promote brand identity.  Vegetable packages are now green in color, to symbolize the many aspects of nature.
