Produkty Pitania Company seals the deal on a new $200 million plant in the Kaliningrad region

On February 26, the Produkty Pitania Company signed a $200 million investment agreement, which paves the way for building a new state-of-the-art plant in Gusev, Kaliningrad. According to a company spokesperson, banks will supply the lion’s share of investment funding.
The full-service plant will include storage facilities, a railway branch, and treatment technologies in line with international standards. The three-stage construction project is scheduled to begin in the latter half of 2006. Once finished, the 110,000 square meter plant will more than double Produkty Pitania’s current production space.
