Produkty Pitania to launch construction on its new Kaliningrad plant

Produkty Pitania, Russia’s premier manufacturer of chicken-based convenience foods, will soon break ground on its new Kaliningrad production plant.  Scheduled to begin construction during the summer of 2006, the company plans to invest $200 million in the project.  This state-of-the-art facility will produce Zolotoy Petushok foods, including pizza, lasagna, puff dough products, pancakes, and pelmenis, along with its popular line of vegetable and meat products.
