Aug 21, 2006 – Once again, Produkty Pitania has taken the hard work out of preparing meals with its newly expanded line of ready-to-prepare gourmet entrees.

Packaged under the company’s Zolotoy Petushok brand label, these new entrees included such old favorites as Chicken Cutlets Stuffed with Cheese; Chicken Kiev; Breaded Barbecue Sticks; and Chicken Cordon-Blue Stuffed with Mushrooms.  Produkty Pitania also unveiled its Domashnaya Skazka brand Breaded Barbecue Sticks.

As expected, consumer response has been extremely positive.  According to Tea Grguric, Produkty Pitania’s Vice President for Marketing, gourmet products represent one of the most promising segments in Russia’s convenience foods market.

In manufacturing these products, Produkty Pitania uses farm-fresh chickens and state-of-the-art production technologies to ensure their utmost quality and longer shelf life.  So they arrive nearly ready-to-eat, saving busy cooks lots of time in the kitchen.  What’s more, they’re priced to fit any household budget.

According to Grguric, her company developed each gourmet entree with Russian consumers in mind, taking into account their taste preferences, as well as their lifestyles.

“Our research shows that modern consumers are usually juggling work with family obligations. Consequently, they are reluctant to spend the extra time it takes to cook complicated meals.  That’s where we can help by offering a wide range of delicious gourmet meals that are both easy to fix and easy to pay for.”
