Produkty Pitania count on market growth

According to Vice-President of Produkty Pitania Damir Imamovic, despite the crisis the ready-to-cook products segment has strong growth potential. As the demand will shift from beef and pork towards chicken meat, the company’s performance should improve because chicken meat is the core component of most of the company’s products. Mr. Imamovic, however, acknowledged that a slight drop in sales was possible in 2009.
In H22009 Produkty Pitania will enter a new market segment. Damir Imamovic did not disclose the detailed and sufficed to notice that as new products are being launched the Company intends to expand its cooperation with retailers by about 30%.
