Produkty Pitania took part in trade fair Agrokomplex-2009

Produkty Pitania continued to attend the annual international trade fair Agrokomplex by taking part in the 12th session of the forum on October 15 - 17 in Kaliningrad’s exhibition center Baltic Expo.
In the course of the event the Company was featured in competition Best Kaliningrad product 2009 and was awarded a diploma from the competition. Tasting Commission members assessed the taste and quality of a natural ready-to-eat Zolotoy Petushok product named Fried Chicken Shank.
Visibility at trade events reinforces the image of Produkty Pitania and provides outstanding opportunities to meet with partners, introduce its new products and communicate with consumers. Other opportunities include review of latest trends in international and Russian foods markets and exchange of experiences.
Produkty Pitania participated in the 17th international foods industry fair Prodexpo-2010, which took place in Moscow’s Expocenter venue on February 8 - 12.
Visitors of the Company’s stand have demonstrated strong interest in the long known and favored by consumers products of the key product line branded under Zolotoy Petushok trademark including breast fillets, grill wings and natural ready-to-eat products. The Company gives topmost promotional priority to these products while intending to introduce novelties, which were represented at the stand as well.
On February 10 the exhibition featured a press event attended by journalists representing the industry’s key media.
— According to analysts forecasts, despite the crisis environment, the frozen convenience foods market segment is looking at further growth that will be taking place at lower rates in view of the general development rates slowdown as well as reduced growth rates in specific segments, - Stefano Vlahovic informed the journalists at the Company stand, - However, chicken meat remains the most affordable ingredient for convenience foods production. In view of raw material availability and growth in demand, chicken meat convenience foods market segment will continue to grow as consumers refocus their preferences towards cheaper products and as the growth of prices for raw materials becomes more moderate. Demand for chicken meat will prevail over demand for other types of meat. Together with further improvement of economic conditions and relevant growth of income consumers will more frequently prefer deep-frozen products that meet high quality standards and allow maximum time saving in cooking, – Stefano Vlahovic summarized.
